Nice to see San Tung on the list, miss their dry fried chicken dry style.  R&G lounge?  I thought it was just ok...

Love R&G Lounge in SF... The crab is a must, also try their baked seabass :)

Savoy in Alhambra is good too.  Really enjoy the chicken dish and the Chrysanthemum tea; too bad they are closed on Sundays :(

Savoy is that little corner restaurant on Valley no?  Haven't been there in years.. thought it was just a weird Cantonese/Italian fusion restaurant.. never had a taste for Hainan chicken.. I have this aversion to pale boiled chicken skin.. i might try it if again if I ever venture into Singapore...

So what's everyone's fav chinese restaurant in Irvine?

Hard for me to decide, because they're not that great... I would say a close tie between Chef Chen (mandarin) and SW (cantonese).. A&J of course for the beef noodle but nothing else..

The dumpings are excellent.  Highly recommended.
