Not much traffic at the open house. California Basement was still fantastic. It conjures up Man Cave fantasies--Movie room, bar, workout room, GranTurisimo simulator etc...Wish more luxury builders (i.e. OH and Hidden Canyon) would consider building a basement. Definitely better than the 3rd floor bonus room.
Backyard was nice and big. Loved the resort style pool with rock slide. Half court baseketbal area was nice. They used a plastic grate type flooring. Wished it had more privacy--not much trees and the neighbors windows look down on your yard. No chance for backyard romance in the spa.
Nothing too special with the rest of the home. The elevation is fugly and makes it look like you live in a southern plantation. Location is pretty close to Endinger but I didn't hear much road noise and it is a short walk to the community pool/park.
The MR is around ~$9K/year--ouch! Add in property tax and hoa, you are looking at ~$2K per month not including mortgage. Schools are TUSD but not the good ones. This maybe a good thing if you are of the IHS education mindset (i.e. less competition = higher class rank = Ivy = set for life).
