First, is your room already prewired from the builder? Or do they need to drill a whole in the ceiling and install the speakers?

So what's the estimate? Are there any other charges?

Bought home as a quick-move in so everything was already done except flooring. No matter, I'm sure they wouldn't have put the wires in the right spot and not enough anyway since Dolby Atmos was just announced and receivers aren't even out yet.

They will have to go into ceiling. Said they will patch it up and texture it so we just need to paint.

Estimate was $100 per speaker wiring. I will probably pay more cause I want to use thicker gauge speaker wire and do other things like snake the HDMI cable for the TV through the wall so there's no wire running down.

So your house was prewired. So maybe that's why you have a low rate.
