Given his position within the company, disclosing any inter-office relationship to HR was likely a condition of employment. If this was anyone else at this high a level within a business, they too would have to resign as he did.

Speaking of heads rolling, while I disagree with Whoopie Goldberg politically as well as with her misconception of the Holocaust, I don't think she should have a crowd demanded 2 week re-education forced on her. Her aberrant views are better cleansed in full sunlight rather than supposedly reshaped with some kind of corporate sourced faux diversity training that is more show than change making.

How about those who ranted in the 60's about "free speech" now calling for the reversal of it with Joe Rogan? Even Howard Stern is saying there should be limits. If we had a time machine, I'd wish to send all of them back 2 or 3 decades so that their younger, more radical selves could beeyotch slap some sense into their older, less tolerant selves. "Keep on rockin' in the free world..." my arse.

All in all it's a good thing for the left to consume itself. If they don't like the taste of their own medicine, perhaps next time they won't be in such a hurry to dispense it to others.

Illinois College Students Want Hate-Crime Culprit Expelled ? Until They Find Out Who She Is

Take the recent Southern Illinois University Edwardsville incident, in which a black female student discovered sticky notes scrawled with racist messages on her dormitory door. A racist sent the student racist text messages and someone even sent racially insensitive death threats. Horrible.

The victim reported the incidents on Jan. 23, 2022. Students were in an uproar. The College Fix reports that students were unslakable in their thirst to expel and ruin the person or persons responsible. Protests ensued.

The Fix reported that the notes said ?DIE BITCH? and ?BLACK PEOPLE DON?T BELONG.? Evidence of a racist text message thread with the victim in the fall of 2021 were turned over to campus police.

Local news covered the student protests calling for the scalp of a ?white female student? who was at that point the subject of an investigation. The head of the Black Student Union demanded she be kicked out before the results of the investigation were returned because ?I feel like she shouldn?t be on campus period. Because you threatened to lynch students on this campus.? He predicted that the black student population at the school would dwindle because of this incident.

The entire SIU Edwardsville campus apparatus was deployed to mitigate the damage to the students? psyches. Police, housing, the campus EEOC office, Title IX officials, and even the Secret Service immediately sprang into action to soothe students and punish the perpetrator.

The white student was cleared, and we now know who the perpetrator is, according to charging documents.

The perpetrator, it turns out, is also the victim.

Authorities charged Kaliyeha Clark-Mabins on Friday with three counts of disorderly conduct for reporting a hate crime. Clark-Mabins stirred up the campus with the hoax and created division among the community. A fellow student?s reputation was sullied because she was wrongly accused. Her peers wanted her tossed off campus. Where does she go to get her reputation back?

Luck won?t be a lady for anyone in Hampton Falls after the Lincoln Akerman School PTO canceled the Guys & Dolls dance, an annual father-daughter event, due to complaints it is not gender-inclusive.

Parents in this small Granite State community received a letter from the PTO explaining the Guys & Dolls dance, along with the companion mother-son Ladies & Lads dance, ran afoul of the current climate of gender politics.

?The Lincoln Akerman School PTO has received some concerns regarding the lack of gender inclusivity surrounding the Guys & Dolls and Ladies & Lads events at our school,? The PTO letter states. ?These long-standing events at LAS have traditionally been separated by gender, but with the asterisk that anyone is is welcome.?

Organizers decided keeping the name and inviting everyone regardless of gender was not an option.  Opening the dance to the entire school would not work due to COVID-19 concerns. Instead, the PTO opted to cancel both dances. Kellie Bove, the Lincoln Akerman School PTO communications director did not respond to a request for comment.

This same thing happened at my daughters' school a couple years back. We ended up doing it as a non-PTA event. The Dads raised funds and one family hosted (ridiculously large home and grounds) and the Moms put in an incredible amount of work to make it an amazing event.
