Should I Stay or Should I Go?

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Come-on people, am I the only one here who posts polls?

Alright,, in response to the thread... I though I should see who is taking a real vacation... Like I said, we are not going anywhere, this year. Maybe up to LA to see grandma, long beach, and maybe, just maybe an overnighter in San Diego... what is your furthest destination this summer? Sorry, I guess the poll is meant for people who live here...

I'm going to Canada (wedding) for a week starting on Sunday. Hubby is planning another trip back 'home' to England (late August/early September). I'm still sorting out if I'm going to bother with QuakeCon this year (Texas in August is like the surface of the sun) but Blizzcon is in Anaheim and I'll be there for that, of course. :)

Right now our main argument is whether or not we look for snow or sand in late December after a few more philosophy classes. Any suggestions?

oh,,, gaming... what is it like.. a huge LAN party?

We already went on our trip to Portland and Seattle, and I went to the MLP Convention in Vegas as well as a ladies weekend in Palm Springs. I'm tired of traveling so we are staying home or doing day trips for quite a while. It's hard to stay away from NYC, though. I want to go back sooooooo badly.

its easy to get buyers remorse on any number of purchases but i've never regretted any vacations i've taken. i can't think of any person that's every said, i wish i didn't travel so much (non-work related that is)

All traveling this year will be in Cali. So far we done 3 weekend trips to San Diego, Rancho Mirage, and Coronado. Will probably do a few others by year end, too. My husband getting his MBA in a program with very short breaks so we can't go far. We are saving up for a long vacation in Spain when he is done with his classes. :)

I love traveling through California so stayactions are fine with me.

I can see why... thanks for the tips from you and Graph... we didn't get to do it all (only a week) but it was quite fun.

Our next destination (holiday season) is probably DC or Hawaii.

Have a great time Shooby! We went in April during the kiddos spring break and had a fantastic time! Where are you staying? Do you have the "Oahu Revealed" book?

Can I just say that he is the most handsome little boy? (Aside from mine, of course. Bahaha!) Seriously, though - I've seen him in person and he is stunning - beautiful eyes. But I'm sure that's nuthin' mom & dad haven't heard before.

We are staying at the AQUA Waikiki Wave. I think it cost a total of $690 per person for flight and hotel for 6 nights. Don't plan on spending a whole lot of time in the hotel, but I'll have to check out that book.

Our vacation this summer revolved around my middle daughter's competition. It was a national meet, and was surprisingly fun hanging out with the other families.

Still wondering if I should make a trip to India. Timing is good- not much work to do, kids have vacation and prices are low.

OTOH taking a small break as a family is US will be good too. Probably last week of July.

Since I don't live in Irvine, I thought a staycation to one of the Irvine Targets would be fun. I hear it is the cool thing to do. But... which Target? Decisions, decisions. You know... I have never been inside the Target in the District. Oh... oh... something new! Eh, wait, the District is not in Irvine, it is in Tustin. Bleh... Tustin is for losers. Looks like the coolness of the Spectrum Target is the winner. Yea! Maybe I can ride the Ferris wheel too. I dunno if I will have time, so busy... so much to do... maybe a little Home Depot, but maybe I can squeeze in a trip in the faded orange balloon. Anyone else notice that it isn't as bright as it used to be? I'm sure they will add in the brighten the orange of the orange balloon cost into the Mello Roos bonds for the homes at El Toro. We all know Lennar ain't payin for that sh*t.

We're going on a Mediterranean cruise. It'll be our first time to that part of the world and I am really looking forward to our trip. I'm trying to learn how to take some decent pictures. I like the idea of having nice pictures but hardly ever take any lol..
