If I could afford the land in Irvine, I would go the architect route. There are some nice Shady Canyon homes by a certain someone that I wish I could get.

Pick Irvine's 1965 award winning neighborhood of El camino with a huge yard then add on to it or tear it down and build your own 6 pack motorcourt 12 car garage compound.

Winchester is nice, single story, 4 bedrooms, 3CWG, backs a trail, on a cul-de-sac and across the street from a park (with hoops... although only half court).

I just don't think we can live in Northwood... we looked at few homes there actually:

These homes are older and some of the floorplans are not ideal but they are 3CWG and Windstream is a quiet tract.
