Golden Spoon Yogurt at the University Center closed, so sad, that was there for years.

Bon Epi Cafe/Bakery will be opening in its place... I wonder if they are going to keep their Diamond Jamboree location open.

Wow, it had been there for a long time. I'm a little surprised it was able to stick around for so long after Yogurtland moved in.

Any ideas on which retail shop has been at UTC the longest? I think Ray's Pizza has been there since 1986.

Yeah, not sure how long Ray's has been there but Alakazam (the comic book shop) used to be Metropolis Comics and was located inside that clothing store (I think it was also called Metropolis). They moved to that location when that clothing store became the club that is now 24 Hour Fitness (I think).

The albertsons on culver/Irvine Blvd is only like 5 minutes away from OH isn't it? I know it's not as convenient as right next door. But it could be worse, at least it's not a 20 minutes drive like it is from PS to Woodbury town center :-)

Are you walking from PS to WTC?! 20 minutes?! When I'm blessed by the traffic lights, it's less than 5 minutes. If I'm not blessed by the traffic light gods, it's a few minutes more. 20 min is a bit of an exaggeration.

It's a running joke about how some folks say how far PS is from everything. When it's literally right next to stonegate, Woodbury etc. yeah it takes 5-7 minutes from PS to WTC.

I've gotten there in about 3 minutes but that's maybe because I drive fast.  haha

Looks like Sino Fusion (formerly Crystal Jade) in Quail Hill has closed.

When they changed to Sino Fusion last year, I was told it was new ownership but then the quality went down and they would be closed randomly. I guess this last closure was permanent.

I think business got tougher when they opened a Pick Up Stix in the same center... I wonder what it going to replace Sino Fusion? A sports bar type eatery might work.

I must be ordering the wrong things at Shin Sen Gumi. I ate at the Costa Mesa location and wasn't  too impressed. I like Santouka better.

Oops. Meant Fountain Valley.

the yakitori side is better than the ramen side.  i wonder if they'll serve both at WTC or just ramen.
