President Trump

Gloves off, it?s us against all of them. At least now everyone knows.

The Media Botched the Covington Catholic Story
And the damage to their credibility will be lasting.

I am prompted to issue my own ethics reminders for The New York Times. Here they are: You were partly responsible for the election of Trump because you are the most influential newspaper in the country, and you are not fair or impartial. Millions of Americans believe you hate them and that you will casually harm them. Two years ago, they fought back against you, and they won. If Trump wins again, you will once again have played a small but important role in that victory.

You guys can scream all you want about the media but his approval rating ain?t changing for now

What do you people think about the recent mass firing of undocumented workers from trump resorts ? At exactly the same time he was creating chaos and whipping up hysteria !  If his dumb f base had half a brain , he would be down in the low 20s by now :)

but hey I forget , cruelty/vengeance is an attractive feature not a bug with these people .

I think making illegal immigration more difficult is a good thing, and I'm not knowledgeable enough to know if a 5.7 billion dollar wall would be the most effective way to achieve it.  Perhaps it is, however, 50% of illegal immigration are people overstaying their visas, so a wall only addresses 50% of the problem, and targets mainly Latin American illegals.

These are some of the issues being discussed in the next couple of weeks by our elected officials.

The issue isn't whether a wall works to deter illegal immigration. The issue is how much damage can we do to Trump by alienating his base from him by blocking the wall. The wall at the San Diego border, built in the 90s, dramatically reduced illegal crossings there and guess who was the proponent of that wall: Dianne Feinstein. So if Feinstein is now saying walls don't work, you know the controversy of whether a wall works or not is just Dems creating a fake issue to hide their true agenda.

Well..it would have been fine had Mexico just paid for the wall.

The Wall is a symbol of the backwards thinking by Trump and Trumpsters.  Thinking that all they need to do is the rewind the clock 30 years and everything will be great.  It's the same tactic as to climate change, renewable energy, regulation, taxes, etc.  The rest of the world has caught  up to the US and US wants to go back to 1985.

The way to deal with immigration is through a proper worker's visa program.  US needs both high skilled and no/low skilled workers.  Immigrants provide both.

speaking of low approval rating in the 20s  ;D ;D ;D

A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll shows that Speaker Nancy Pelosi ? not President Donald Trump ? plummeted most in popularity during the 35-day government shutdown.

New poll shows Speaker Pelosi?s approval rating down during government shutdown

The new poll shows the Speaker of the House experienced a 6-point drop in her approval rating. Only 28 percent of Americans rated Pelosi as favorable, while 47 percent rated her as unfavorable ? a stunning 19 percent ?upside down? unfavorable figure.

The Wall Street Journal reports that while voters in their poll did hold him responsible for the shutdown, Trump is down only 3 percent total since November, when the midterm elections were held. Hardly the roundhouse kick to the head that it could have been, given the bad mainstream press.

Trump?s overall 43-percent approval rating is, according to Gallup Poll, roughly on par with President Barack Obama?s 49 approval rating during the same week just two years into his presidency.

Originally Trump caved to the radio and tv hosts. He was going to sign the bill.

Also, the FACT is Trump mentioned on television that he owns the shut down.

Nah...Trump does.  That's why he shut down the government in the first place.  Deflection and goal post moving do not exist in this forum.

See...Trumpster's inability to contextualize facts and numbers make untrue things true.

NBC poll always had her in the 20s.  In October..she was at 22%...28% in December...and 28% in January.

Her polls numbers have stayed even through December but significantly better after Midterms.

Again...you clearly don't understand polls.  Congress always has low poll numbers because most people only know their local congressperson.

Trump is historical low for presidents.

Still whistling in the graveyard.

What?  Trump is wrong?  Say it ain't so!!!

Washington (AFP) - US intelligence chiefs on Tuesday contradicted President Donald Trump's statements that the Islamic State group has been defeated and that North Korea can be convinced to forego its nuclear weapons.

In their annual report on security challenges to the country, the country's top spies also challenged Trump's claim that Tehran is actively seeking nuclear weapons, the justification Trump gave for withdrawing last year from a multilateral treaty on Iran.

Weeks before Trump plans a second summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats told the Senate Intelligence Committee that the US intelligence community believes it unlikely that Pyongyang will agree to completely denuclearize.
