This one hit close to home since I like to swim alone. In those community pools, it's next to impossible to swim laps during the time kids are around. Nobody, including adults care about the lane(s) marked off for swimmers. Therefore, you have to swim during the late hours or early mornings. There's definitely a better chance late at night. I'm sure as it gets colder, there will be even less people swimming at night. So, I could easily end up like this. Maybe during the winter I'll try swimming during the lunch hour when there is a life guard around. Every time I am swimming, this is at the back of my mind.
