Wait until she reads the disclosures for the Groves.  You know it used to be a dump site too, right?

No I did not!  I was born and raised in the LBC where Tupac grew up... I've been in OC for just about a decade.  Landfill is okay as long as they've sealed it up and no gases/liquids permeate.  Most baseball fields were all previously landfills anyways.
If landfill is okay, come to PS1/LR  ;)

Bowerman landfill is active and not sealed...
Please educate me here. How does sealed or active matter? End of the day, It is waste and as far as I know it is closed/covered everyday at 5PM.

Picture this...

Active -> A naked woman has her legs wide open and it's stinky down in that crevice from 'x' feet away.
Closed -> A fully dressed women has her legs closed standing.  Not possible to smell that funk.

So, it is more of perception--because that "thing" is there in both cases

You mean a matter of perspective?  Yes.

That's why it's absolutely rude and vile to fart in a car on a roadtrip to Vegas.  It's okay to take an 'a__hole" with you because, it's your body, but it's another thing to let it "vent" where someone has to smell it...
Clear now  ;D

Just for inversion sake. Better cell phone service may help valuations. Could you imagine being the Irvine Co and making the argument that poor cell phone service at the spectrum is because they don't want cell towers nearby.

1. I don't think a builder would talk about poor cell phone service. (They are selling a house not cell phones/service)
2. It's not a positive thing to advertise that new homes will be built by a cell tower.

I was added to the interest list 1 week ago, so should I wait for 2 more months to even get a call?  Which means I may not get a home in Petaluma or priced out with price increases?
oc.queries when were you added to the list?  Do you know?

Yes, we are added. but we are the last one so far to get added.
So, did you get a home in the latest release?

No.

Yellowfever went on priority list 2 months before me.
He didnt get the call yet.

When did you go on the list?

Do you get the email atleast?

Not yet.  I just added my name in their interest list and trying to get pre-approval.  850K is the max (actually more than max) that I can go.
But I am not sure if I should really get preapproval if people like you are waiting for more than 2 months.

In 2 months, I will be priced out for sure.

What is more confusing for me is that there were homes left over the day after the release and both of you did not get the call.
Are you waiting for a premium lot and passing the offer?  If so, I can be hopeful.

Then look for resale, might find a better deal.

Sorry buddy.  "Interest list" is not the same as the "priority list".  Haha.  You need to get fully pre-approved.  You don't add yourself to the list.  Wells fargo adds YOU to the list.  ....

Thanks YellowFever.
Looks like you did not read my comments fully... I mentioned 'I just added my name in their interest and trying to get preapproval'.  So, I am aware of the process.
However, you seem to be dodging my direct question 'why are you not getting a call to book a home even if there are homes unsold from the last release'.

Once you get pre-approved, they will add you to list.
Whenever there is a phase release, they will send mail to all pre-approved list.
You need to reply with your choices.
But for you to get that choice, the people before you in the list has to reject.
If those people select the ones that you like, then you wont get call until its ur turn to actually get the house.

You are right...Agreed.
And I got my answer.  You are waiting for a specific elevation and have declined any other which was offered.  So, if I am flexible, I can still get one there

Are you absolutely sure that all six homes in phase 25 were still for sale two days ago????  ;)  Maybe somebody ahead of me took my option.

And..how do you know what elevation I want and what residence I want?  There are 4 elevation types with 3 residences.  That's 12 possible combinations...

Somebody is following you. Don't be surprised if he knocks on your door. It's _____ from TI.  (Possibility?)
