So are we at the top of the 7-year cycle now? Are price drops in the future (not just softening of the WTF prices)?

Maybe - nothing significant though. Even in the 2006-08 price drops, it took a long time for pricing to fall as many homeowners tried to hold out for a good offer. I worked with a guy who was trying to sell an Orlando home for more than he paid for it after the market had dropped 33%. He never dropped his price and eventually rented out the home instead.
