Attack of the TI animal avatars...

Funny!! The TI animals demand answers.

I can't join the attack because I'm just a harmless starfish. My only job is to look nice and observe.

multigenerational living is no longer popular among the current generation of Chinese buyers. This idea is 15 years too late and so is the wok room. Ask PS and his peers. His generation rely on yelp for the next meal.

seriously - I know a lot of Taiwanese, Chinese and Cantonese old women - I don't think they even used Woks back in Asia.
Lotus toilet seat is a much better and cheaper proposal.

this happens way too often on TI.  someone shows interest in a community and tries to provide as much info as they can and then are quickly labeled as a shill.

Arman reminds me a lot of StoneTreeMegan.
plus I don't think rkp you are a shill because you see things objectively.

i am not worried about myself being seen as a shill...but i do worry that we push away folks from TI.  stonetreemegan always was upfront that she worked for the developer.  i think having developer reps participate makes TI better and not worse.  yes they have an agenda but having access to more info is better right?

i am active on flyertalk.com and one of the best sub-forums is SPG cause of the reps from SPG that participate their.

Heaven forbid I should post an article from a newspaper. You can argue how objective the OC Register is, but that's a separate issue. I do not work for nor affiliated with the developer in any way. I am merely a consumer who is very interested in LR.

Got it. The correct term is not shill but rather

Not everyone agrees. Some of the members had reported Megan Stonetree's posts as spam. The tone matters. I disagree that spam adds to the quality of the site. There's a time and place.

*Edit: I am not referencing Arman. I haven't been paying attention to that member's posts. Speaking only about Megan.

Yes, the tone definitely matters and spam does not add to the discussion.  It would be nice to have reps/insiders/agents participate in a manner similar to the forums rkp had mentioned.  Starwood has done that right and a lot of companies could learn from it.

I shill for Irvine... just not Irvine prices.

But back on topic... so is multi-generational living on the outs?

Why do homes with a downstairs bed/bath seem to sell better than those that don't? I often times see grandparents strolling the kids around... not just Asian, but other ethnicities too.

maybe megan was spamming in the beginning but by the end, she was informative and helpful.  i dont recall exactly but i thought she was always upfront about working for builder but i could be wrong

in any case, many folks here say test is an employee or in some way profitting from VoC.  i say who cares?  personally i dont think he is and that truly believes VoC to be superior to a lot of other parts of tustin/irvine.  more importantly, he shares plenty of info that is very useful.

on same note, one can say IHS is a shill for some non-irvine company.  maybe he is invested in projects outside of irvine?  i have no idea but he is constantly putting down everything in irvine and many folks tolerate and even like his posts

the point is, as long as you are adding to the discussion, you should be welcome here.

the downstairs bedroom/bath isnt just for multi-generational living but it appeals to anyone who has guests often.  not that a guest room cant be upstairs but it has a dual appeal of a guest room and possible future room for older relatives that cant walk up the stairs
