If this credit crunch continues unabated, expect your Amex to be worthless, and all cash to be standard.

I feel like I'm living in the middle of Fight Club........

Citibank just raised my credit limit today. They're offering a 0% balance transfer (really 3%) for a year. I'm tempted to take the money and put it in my bank account.

It's on an account I never use, but I agree it probably isn't worth the hassle. If they capped the balance transfer fee, I would definitely consider it. I just find it strange that banks are still throwing money around, even if it's just a minuscule amount.

jp morgan is near its all time highs, b of a is almost a 40 buck stock again, us bank is as high as ever. what crisis exactly is supposed to be happening?
