This one looks to be WTF reasonably good price for a Former Model Home fully landscaped with 8,000+ sqft lot and 3,900 sqft living space.

Bought at $2 million+ 6 months ago and now on sale for $1.488 million.  Anyone know what model this one is at Pavilion Park?

127 Branch Irvine, CA 92618
https://www.redfin.com/CA/Lake-Forest/Branch-Ave-92630/home/64349325/crmls-OC16012776

Pricing looks to be a tactic for drawing many multiple/counter bids.  Wonder how well this tactic will work though.

Like NewtoIrvine1 mentioned - Looks like the buyer bought the house when Chinese stock market peaked and maybe he needs to unload it super fast to get liquidity to re-patriot to China and pay off the debt.

Ha Ha, fat finger typo from the realtor?  $2.488 million instead of $1.488 million?

That is probably the case but honestly 2.48M for this?  Realtor is F'in nuts.  Good luck selling this for that much.  even the 2M they paid initially doesnt make sense.

Also I don't know where this street "Branch" is.  All the Melrose models in PP were on Fieldwood I believe.

According to Google Maps, there is no "Branch" Ave in Irvine.

The redfin link says "Branch Ave." but new streets in Irvine communities don't use "Ave", "St." "Rd", etc.

The mystery continues.

@aqua

I'll meet you at the Presidential Inc office (they're at Walnut/Jeffrey between Ranch 99 and SW Seafood).  You got $744,000 cash?

Fieldwood becomes Branch at the turn bordering the park.

Give me an hour, I'll bring my briefcase handcuffed to my wrist.  We'll celebrate after the offer is accepted with Dim Sum at SW.

Are you sure?  Where does this happen?  See below.  Green area is the park.  Even if it does change to Branch, all the model homes were on Fieldwood before the turn, right?

Not that this really matters to anyone.  but there is a street sign that says Branch.  It's also on mapquest.  It's branch between fieldwood and compass.  I'm sure they get mail just fine at their branch address.
