4.6 million dollars
The closet cabinets should at least attach to the ceiling for that much money, also need cabinet floors.  This closet looks rinky dink.

This seems particularly ridiculous.

Haven't looked at houses for a long time and the price per sq foot is pretty high but the house is perfect for someone who wants to stay in Irvine and retire. It's a single story with no mello and low HOA.

Not my cup of tea because it's near a road and too old for me. Will be interesting to see if they drop the price.

Anything I'm missing here to make me feel this person is crazy to charge $7xx per sqft?

At least it's in decent condition. Look at the shape of this house for $580/sq fthttps://www.redfin.com/CA/Irvine/14232-Saarinen-Ct-92606/home/4672556

edit: if you take this house and put $120k of renovations into it, maybe you'll get the house you linked

The sad part is that home on Sarrinen Ct will fly into escrow with multiple offers and close above the listing price.

Pretty much no home under 1m in Irvine should be on thread

Agreed. If this home actually sells for $800k then it would be an investor's dream. Probably can rent for $3200 or so. No Mello roos and low HOA. This thing almost breaks even at 25% down.

I thought this house looked great, but then I looked at the price history and noticed it sold for 1.6 mid Feb 2021. They didn't seem to update anything and are now asking 200k above the purchase price from last month.  Am I looking at this right?  Have we reached peak insanity...
