Earlier today I listed a recently renovated single family home located in the desirable Almaden Valley area of San Jose on MLS. The home was built in 1985 and features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and 1,470sf. The home is priced to sell fast at $1,388,000

Thanks gang. Showings start Wednesday afternoon and I'll personally be there to host both open houses this weekend.

After a few counters, we opened escrow with a buyer Tuesday evening.

Got word from escrow that the transaction closed this afternoon. The sales price was $1,320,000 however the buyer agent gave up 1.50% of the buyer agent commission to bring down the price (her son was the buyer) and the buyer provided a 5-week free rent back to the seller so the effective sales price was approximately $1,345,000. Congrats to both the buyer and seller.
