Got the good news from escrow that we have officially closed on the home this afternoon.  The purchase price was $1,125,000.  Congratulations to both the buyer and seller.

Congrats! I think FV could be an area that sees a lot of tear downs with houses being rebuilt like this one (good amount of lots this size, no mello,  decent schools and lots of old folks who will likely be selling or passing their homes down in the next few years). If I were the only one to inherit my mom's house, that's what I would do.
