This is the greatest article in the history of the internet, maybe the NYT, and certainly of online blogging. If you read the Lassner blog on the OCR or the Orange Juice Blog strictly for entertainment value, this may open up an whole new level of consicousness for you. I had no idea /b/ existed. Fun stuff.</blockquote>
But which is more pathetic? That sasquatch is in it for the Lulz or that sasquatch really is that deluded?</blockquote>

That's the same point. Or did I just grant massive lulz to Eva?
Overall, who cares. The author was roundly gamed, but even with that, unhealthy is the only word that comes to mind which is the core thing, IMHO, to remember about the interent. It's were every unhealthy, screwed-up, deluded, F.I.N.E, maladjusted misfit gets to go to escape, "bond" and attempt to make themselves feel better. Unfortunately, they congregate and behave much like a hive of killer bees.
In the ancient era, the tribe would have driven them from the group into the wilderness. The Internet is our wilderness. Yes little Johnny, it is filled with the boogeyman.
