We are in the process of finding a lender for our mortgage, but surprised to know how different offers are provided by different lenders.  Have anyone can refer some lender for us?

By the way, anyone has experience with Pacific One Lending in Huntington Beach?  Any good or bad?

Thanks in advance!

None of my buyer or I had any experience with Pacific One Lending in HB so I can't say one way or another.  You might want to contact SGIP (Solyent Green is People) on the forum as he has done a great job in assisting several of my buyers so shoot him a PM.  I also have a few other lender referrals that my other buyers used with good success, PM me if you would like to get their contact info.  Regardless on who you go with, speaking with a least 2-3 lenders before you select one and if a rate/fee structure is too good to be true....it probably is.

SGIP is king!  In all my purchases and refi's with various lenders, he was a straight shooter and easy to work with.  I have referred others to him and they have reported back to me the same experiences.

Thanks. I will ping SGIP for help then. Thanks a again.

SGIP! Like everyone said, he is honest and pleasant to work with. Most of the lenders will not give as much information as he gives to you.

I will also chip in here and add that I've had nothing but positive experiences in working with John Wheaton (the artist formerly known as SGIP).
He does what he says he will do.  (I can think of no better compliment for a service provider.)

He's at 949.683.6724.

SGIP sucks!

Just kidding.

Whenever I have questions, SGIP has the answers. And he gives them to me even though he knows I may not use him. He even offers himself up as a benchmark for comparisons to other brokers which has been quite helpful on a few refis.

Plus I hear he's pretty good at the art of japanese poetry.

If I can start over again, I will reach SGIP instead of BofA just for the 0.125% rate and 2K credit.  It is so painful with BofA as the communication is sooo slow, and they were so inefficient on processing your application.  Once the sales guy got your business, they start looking for next target and totally leave you behind.  I am really disappointed with BofA and should listen to all your advices...

BofA is the worst of the worst.  Yeah, sometimes they have the best rates but I have had 2 buyers who's closings were delayed by them for a few weeks causing some tense moments with the sellers.  They would ask them to provide the same paperwork 2-3 times because they claimed they never received it.  Next time call SGIP and don't look back.
