Most embarassing...

Well, while I'm on a roll... LOL... I guess my other embarrassing moment was my first kiss.

I had gone out with this guy about six times but nothing had happened yet. After the second date, I could tell he was trying to make a move but he wasn't very aggressive and seemed a little apprehensive. I am SO not a forward person but the anxiety was killing me so I decided to just take charge. I had planned to act brave and ask him if I could kiss him. I had practiced my lines and everything - rehearsed in my head how I was going to approach him. So he drops me off at the end of the night after another date and I asked him if he wanted me to kiss him. He said yes. I said ok. And then sat there. One minute. Another minute. Shoot, I had not planned on what to do if he said yes! I was too scared to move. There were literally crickets chirping, I am not kidding. I looked at him. Inched forward. Slowly. Painfully slowly! We kissed. My face was on fire. I felt dizzy. Thought I was going to faint. Kiss ended and I think I let out the most pitiful sigh of relief. Said goodnight and had trouble getting out of his car. Too frazzled, couldn't find the door handle. He had to open it for me. Walked briskly back to my house. It didn't go exactly as smoothly as I had hoped. LOL.

But the kiss couldn't have been that bad. He married me.
