New to Talk Irvine and new to Irvine in general (will be relocating there in the summer).  I was considering Auburn at Stonegate but they are making things rough for prospective buyers with a home to sell.  In the likely event Auburn falls through, I am considering Morro and Beverly but there does not appear to be much info about it.  I saw the two threads here about the developments but can't seem to find any real time info about it online.

Does anyone know the anticipated release date(s) and price range?  We have a max budget of $2 million, would like 3,500 sq. ft+ and trying to stay within NWHS if possible.  Looked at OH and really liked some of the plans but don't want to end up in TUSD.  Any info greatly appreciated!

Yes, willing to consider Portola HS in light of the faster move in availability for Auburn.  And, regardless, figure Irvine being Irvine Portola will be a good school by the time we would be sending a kid there.

What about Calistoga in EW as backup?

They are about the same size as Morro and Beverly, and they are currently selling.

I believe Calistoga is about 3900 sq ft and Morro will be about 4500 sq ft lots.  Houses are slightly larger than Calistoga so if you're looking for about 3500 sq ft I think Morro may be a better fit size wise.  There's no official info yet but I did sign up for updates through the New Home Company website.  It says Morro is on its way.  Not sure when it'll start building, etc.  Also you could also look at Orchard Hills Neighborhood 3 which is set to open in Oct.  The houses may range up to about 3500-4000 (guessing though) but I doubt they'll be the first ones built.  Usually they build the attached and detached condos first at the bottom of the hill and move their way up.  So you may be looking into next year.

Lol.  I guess I didn't read the webpage clearly.  Yep... fairly soon then.  I'll be looking at those homes potentially as well.  May price me out though.
