I met Drew Leavens at an Irvine Chamber of Commerce event in 2014 so I could have named him. I remember that year he raised about $30,000 and Mimi raised about $2,000,000.
I will not ever vote for Mimi again due to her voting for the new tax law that will hurt local homeowners (her constituents).
When you registered to vote, you must have included your cell number. (Registration form doesn't show a phone number as a requirement and it specifically says that your phone number will show on the public register that is posted at the polling place). I put no phone number in and got no texts...... bad enough that my name and address are on a piece of paper for anyone to see.
Ever hear a conversion from a Russian. Them Rookies syllables and sounds like backward talking. Try it.

Jan 13, 2017 Mimi voted YES on a budget resolution to begin the process of repealing the ACA.
Think of it this way there are many GOP house seats and big governor race in California. Trump is not going to California to campaign for them. Because his advisers told him not to come due to the chances of them winning are not good.

Mimi isn't sending out these texts and neither is Katie Porter who also is using this tactic. We both can be assured it's RNC and DNC grey money and their bots so to speak.
At this stage Mimi Walters seems to be outspent by 3,000 to 1. The number of daily adds, door knockers, and road signs for Katie Porter are incredible compared to anything we might get from Walters campaign.
The MSM news outlets all talk about Steyer and Bloomberg putting $$$$$ into "flip the house races". These ads for Porter are astroturfing, plain and simple. Most people - including me - couldn't name any of the 2014 or 2016 opposing candidates without looking it up on Wikipedia. To save anyone from looking it up, 2014 was Drew Leavens. 2016 was Ron Varasteh. Now, with Porter ads running 24 / 7 it's hard to know Mimi Walters is even running.
