Yup I can't wait!  I'm sure Socal78 can't wait either.

Now if only they would get started on connecting Portola...

At first, I wasn't excited about Alton at all. As the crow flies, it is the same distance from my house to Irvine Blvd taking Bake as it is Alton. There didn't seem to be any advantage.

Then I drove Alton.  :D

It is so much quicker. Unlike Bake's many stops, there are no lights on Alton. Love it! Now, when I go to my doctor in Woodbury, I don't even take the 241 anymore. It's quicker taking Alton, not to mention free. It's a very pretty "country" drive with a windy road. It's a nice scenic drive up the rural road to the homes here in the hills. Contrary to the previous post about the "Farm" being noticeable, I can't find it at all and I have tried multiple times, specifically looking for it. I kind of wish I could see it.

It's a bit of a challenge, but coming from FR down Alton, when you are almost to Irvine Bl. you will see outer and inner barbed wire fences on your left.  The "Farm" is in there.  the buildings aren't large though and it's decently tucked away.

As for Shea Baker Ranch, you'll have to escape up Alton past Commercentre to access the unsuspecting residents' homes.  :o
