Los Altos @ Stonegate East VS Santa Barbara @ Woodbury

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Thanks to all for the valuable input I have received. I am sure we will take into consideration the points that you have made. Theoretically we still have both the options open, having pre-qualified for both.

Not sure if this is important to you, but having dealt with noisy neighbors in the past, I always ask to see how the units are actually attached to each other.  I was considering SB3 and the agents were kind enough to take me out to some of the units that were being built before the dry wall went up.  You can actually see how much spacing you have, as well as exactly how much overlap you will have.  For plan 3, the wall that runs behind the laundry room and one of the bedrooms is the wall of the kitchen and part of the living room of a plan 1.

Another good point, will surely watch out for the unit placements and overlap.

I know this thread died a long time ago. I just wanted to update you all that we have decided to go with Los Altos, we have already reserved a home in phase 2.

Looking at the unfinished model homes of Los Altos and comparing it to Santa Barbara, I think we have made a good overall choice for what we wanted in our first home.

Thanks again to all of you for your time and responses.

Congrats, what ended up being the difference maker?
