All those homes have cool stories, especially since they were built before the depression. BK's pager must be broken... between me, tmare, and Mc80 his pager would be blowing up to know the info on this home. Oh... and I'm sure Cayci pinged him too. Do tell BK... we know you know the story on this home.
BTW... WTF?! One picture! Lazy Santa Ana Realty turds... they need a lesson from the pic master known as Deuce. For the love of gawd, at least get a shot of the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom. Really... at $1.1mil. you can afford a photographer to be out there before you list the home.</blockquote>
Just FYI for those not familiar, Victoria Drive is the premiere location in Floral Park. The street has a "Beverly Hills" type of feel to it. It is without a doubt THE street in Floral Park. The lack of pics of this house is unforgivable, the local agent who lives on the street and lost this listing (and another the other on the street) is furious right now, even though I don't particularly like her, I know she would have had pictures posted immediately.
There are three homes that appear to be almost identical in their exterior to this one in Floral Park, two are for sale (the other is on North Park) and one has been owned by my in-laws for over 30 years. In fact, all three are even painted the same exterior colors. These are pretty rare finds in Floral Park, the fact that there are 3 homes for sale on Victoria is significant. Any loan info on this particular one, graphrix?</blockquote>
The owner of this property lives in Oceanside of all places. The property was purchased on 6/18/91 for an unknown amount however the accessed value $102,540 and there hasn't been a loan on this property since it was acquired.</blockquote>
That may explain the lack of pics. The owner may not want it advertised that the house is vacant, lest some enterprising person w/o a roof offer to "babysit" it in the meantime w/o permission.
Re: Tmare's comment. My guess is that the other agent also isn't thrilled with steep price reduction on this one, <em>because</em> she lives on the same street.
