i didn't grow up in the best neighborhood... and the first time i saw the couryard layout.. i thought to myself... this is a great idea, no way can they do a drive by.

The problem with detached condos is the lack of parking.  I don't want to pay $700K+ for a house and look for parking on the street when I come home from work.  It's very nice to know that the driveway will always be there for me to park when I come home.  It's a similar feeling of having a wife waiting for you when you get home.  It's nice ;)

Or being able to have friends/family over.

I enjoy the convenience of Pump It Up and My Gym but sometimes you want to have the homies over so you can watch hoops, the wives can chat and all the kids can make a mess of the place.
