yes sir. i tried it on tuesday for lunch. the fritos was the only reason i tried it and it was actually pretty good. normally i get the philly cheese steak but the fritos got to me.  they have these new flatizza's that arent bad. its just their square pita bread looking thing, they put some sauce and any ingredients you want.  i had the six inch sandwich and half of a flatizza with pepperoni and banana peppers and that was actually pretty good as well.

How's that yoga mat taste? Yummers?

"Subway says it is removing from its bread a chemical reportedly found in Yoga mats, following a petition pressuring it to nix the ingredient."

damn thats crazy. lucky for me i rarely eat subway. its about the burgers.

so my wife wanted togos for dinner tonight, i wasnt sure what is was having for dinner and just got one of those mini pastrami sandwiches.  its was actually pretty good. IHO convinced me with the "pastrami tastes like a shredded hot dog"
now im going to have to try the Hats pastrami.

Go to Langer at 7th and Alvarado. West Coast's best pastrami. The meat is 10 times leaner and tastier than the Hats. Be sure to get there before 4pm and take Opensky with you to see Salvadorans, Guatemalans and Ecuadorians sidewalk venders. Those Irvine folks need to see the real diversities and not some festival at Mason Park where the ethnic vendors were bused in from outside the city.

I listen to 710 a lot and langers is a sponsor, they talk about how good it is but wasn't sure if they just said it was good because they are a sponsor. Good to know

I'll have someone take a picture of me amongst the el salvadorians and Guatemalans and then I'll post it here and we can play where qwerty to see if you guys can spot me.

Yep, Langer are pretty good.

I work close by and this area is definite not Irvine.

Grilled scallops at Honda-Ya

Some old crushes, these two are on my last meal on earth list.  Simple in prep but the taste complexities exponentiates at the skilled hands of a yakitori chef over Japanese wood charcoal.  The wings always arrive last, to me it's a savory dessert.  One of the few items I will down even if I'm stuffed.  The salty burnt ends goes great with a second pitcher of Kirin.  Pure umami.  Do not get them to go, that's a waste of money.

Seafood ramen at Honda-Ya, new on menu, recommend it, simple broth, topped with grilled smoky seafood, has a buttery taste?
