Irvine safest large city in California... sleeping with my door unlocked tonight..

Trooper. When we went to Hollywood for a play at the Pantages. It seemed like it was just so over the top with people panhandling and "working" the street. I feel for you having to get involved in something that is so rampant and pervasive in your patrol area. Especially with the revolving door in the courts with this type of low priority vice crime. No room in the jails so they hit the streets the next night right back.

Don't be defensive, I was joking, sorry if that wasn't clear.

I really enjoyed the diagram but obviously missed the inside joke, honest mistake right. Hopefully, I'm entitled to make one.

bltserv, yeah way too many homeless. Most have a mental illness of some sort, so it's really hard to manage them. Your comment about a revolving door is right on...for both the criminals and the mental illness individuals. We can keep them on a 72 hour hold when they are totally losing it (walking into traffic, attacking people, etc), but that's about it...then they are right back on the same corner/same bus bench. It's really sad/frustrating. A quarter of our calls every day are due to mental illness.

And the prostitutes outnumber us 100 to 1 easy.
