The culture is not that different.

Just substitute a seafood palace in Westminster for one in Monterey Park. Same food, though, but not quite as good. I've been to a number of them.

The above couple is clearly ABV.

But I bet that their receptions was still held in a seafood palace, since all of the maids/grooms are also ABV. If they had some gweillo maids/grooms, they may have held their reception at a club instead.

There are dinner plates and chopsticks on the tables in the club house so I doubt they had another reception at a sea food place. I'll bet they had rubber chicken, salad, and cold dinner rolls.

[quote author="bkshopr" date=1246062322]The wedding party depicted is not Chinese but Vietnamese. The culture is totally different.</blockquote>

Not totally different:

It's not traditional for the bride to look like she's about to pop out of her dress, is it? If I had that many inches of cleavage, or if my dress was worn that far down, I'd be down right indecent. Pull up your dress!

And I think the bridesmaids made an attempt to get back at the bride for her poor choice in dress by not bothering to iron/steam them before the ceremony.

I don't see any cleavage, I can see the bride's ribcage though.

Allow me to help explain? (Warning: TMI ahead...) To be properly-supported in a gown or bra, the nipples should be halfway between your shoulder and the bend in your arm. Everything there is headed a little south, no matter what is revealed, bone or otherwise. Ok, back to your regularly-scheduled programming.

[quote author="irvine_grad" date=1246062257]NBC used to have the BEST dim sum in town. Sadly, it changed in recent years.

</blockquote>

I don't think old school places like NBC, Sam Woo, Hong Kong Palace have changed, I think its just that the newer dim sum places are better. The new places do away with the carts so the food is fresher and hotter and have cutting edge recipes straight from mainland China or HK.

Freedom is correct. Facial feature such as Vicki's cheekbone and her Bridesmaids are ABV. Mark is harder to tell but his petite frame is an indicator of Vietnamese.
