Irvine Chinese Strategies

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
[quote author="bkshopr" date=1241167360]40% of all new homes are Asian buyers. Instead of building 100% TIC would limit its supply to only target Asians and to balance absorption. The strategy is to rationing supply to rallying demand.

Top strategists are being hired to plot the scenario.

Bk, I love that quote; I imagine a bunch of Asian-Americans locked in some TIC room, brainstorming while eating dim sum. I?ve been thinking of what those strategies might be, here are some of my best guesses/suggestions:

Identify wealthy corrupt Chinese government officials; fly them to Irvine, hold a casino night; raffle off one house. We all know that one Chinese can?t live alone, all by themselves; their friends will be pressured to buy & live in the other two units!

Promote the Treos as new version of ancient Chinese households; where multi-generations can live together under one roof. The parents can take the two end units, with grandma of course, and the daughter with her white husband can live in the middle unit.

Have the marketing/sales team infiltrate the local Chinese community via the Irvine Chinese school. Make sure to learn phrases like, ?ne how ma?? & ?wo ai ne!? Actively use those phrases in the sales office on Chinese parents and their adult children.

Promote the Treos as private retirement condos; where baby boomer Chinese couples can live in the end units, and a maid, cook, masseuse, and caddy can live in the middle units.

Avoid street alignment with house, no front door aligns with stairs and another exterior door, and no toilet closer to street than the front door. These are the worse scenarios. Remedies only cure some but long term effect can ruin health, fortune, and family.

No bed above cooktop and especially master bedroom above kitchen. Cooktop must not align with sink because fire and water should never mix. (not good when 2 persons are working back to back and they rub each others ass)

Front door must not align with neighbors door across the street. Front door is cursed when aligned with neighbors exhaust fume as cars are backing out from garage.

Foyer must be large enough to lay out neat rows of slippers before your guests arrive and then to accomodate dozens of pairs of your guests shoes after they arrive.

I am sure TIC trolls are reading this. Print this out and give it to the ticky tacky box architect so he can get it right. Bren would be terribly disappointed when Chinese buyers pick on the bad feng shui during the grand opening.

I will be there for the full analysis and post my review of the homes here at IHB so stay tune.
