Because we can comprehend a lot of info in short amount of time. If it is not fast enough for us we move onto the next thing. The last two hours I have downloaded CFA material, checked foreclosures, read Patrick's links, posted and read comments here and all the while CNBC has been on in the background. Asian markets up, Euro markets flat and the Yen is almost at 115.
 
lol.. Do you keyboard with one hand and mouse with the other <em>at the same time</em>? I ctrl-tab across browser pages while mousing because it's faster than having to move the mouse all the way to the top to change browser tabs (IE7). If a web site is slow to respond, I can look at another page while I wait, then pop back over. Info is our heroin!
 
That's effencool. With my widescreen montior set to max res, I've been knocking my coffee cups off my desk trying to cycle tabs with my mouse. Thanks!

I even have two tabs up for IHB. One for the comment page and one for the forums. That way I don't have to go back and forth between the two.
