Interesting/Amusing Property Finds

[quote author="ihate-nar" date=1253227346]Nothing really amusing except usual mistake of posting without running spell checker. I wanted to know is what kind of death on the property have to disclosed?

I believe I heard that any death on the property, even when somebody dies of natural causes, needs to be disclosed if it happened within the last three years. Can anybody confirm this rule? So maybe grandma passed away in her sleep. Or maybe a whole family was murdered. The full disclosure should state the details.

Is the usual note whenever there is a short sale or is this a definition of a short sale?

**This home is flagged as a short sale. We're sorry, we don't tour or write offers on short sales because of the slim chance that you'll get the home.**</blockquote>
This is a RedFin-specific note.

Basically, since short sales usually don't end up as a sale, RedFin doesn't want to spend the time or resources for what little or no commission they may receive.

What the heck is that hanging on the wall? :bug:</blockquote>
Is that bk's house? Maybe it's proof of concept that his Icicle Gun works.

Or maybe that's a custom guest bed when there isn't room on the couch? Or if you do sleep on the couch, you'll end up being artwork on the wall.

Sorry, you are all wrong except for xoneinax. It is a plaster mold of the burned victim dumped in irvine.

So, about a year and a half ago this was a short sale listing. Not sure if the $359K sale in Dec was bank taking it back. When it was taken off in March, it did not go back up, just disappeared. Are the realtor typos (being generous here) even funny anymore? Great neighborhood? See that fence? It was not there when it was listed as a SS. Someone has already trashed it. We looked at the house next door as a potential rental... would not even consider living in it because the back security screen had already been crow barred. This home has a block wall that separates it from the Norm's parking lot and is only three in from Victoria. It's a burglury magnet.

The closets walk? That's the thief who ran off with your valuables you had hidden in the closet. Remodeled to a long ago kitchen... done vintage style then, perhaps it even has an ice cooler instead of a fridge. It's so lovely, we won't even post pics of the interior.

Wonderful landscape? Sorry ass looking grass?

I saw pics of what they did to the master bed/bath remodel... OMG, it was awful, which is why they aren't posting them. These people had ZERO taste and ZERO clue and armed with a ridiculous HELOC they proceeded to make an ugly mess.

Can any of the resident realtors provide any insight as to who bought it in Dec for $359K and why it's just now being listed at the same price? Did the bank take it back in Dec and then sit on it for nearly 10 months? The fence was not there when it was delisted in March '08..... very strange.

It is interesting that the listing states the sale is subject to Court approval. I wonder if it is a divorce sale.

Can someone tell me what that thing on the dresser is?

"The totally private Backyard looks like the Ritz Carlton"

Ok, blind test... which one is the Ritz Carlton?

Given the active NOD on 6 Weather Ledge, maybe a better reference is the St. Regis.

The cold tile floors do not evoke a feeling of warmth IMO.

Perhaps the cold tile floors are the yummy part?

Check out the summary description in other languages. Either that's the realtorspeak in other country, or they are using a cheap autotranslator to make is sounds more international. I don't know Spanish, but the Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic is messed up.
