We've gone through this already, you paid $3.6k, sure, but it's not worth $20k (hey, my kids painting is worth $1m and climbing), unless the transaction goes through, having people say or your neighbors say they'd pay that amount isn't the same thing.

You've also spent money on it (you've even admitted it back in some prior post), based on a restoration bronco site:
Bronco restoration will cost between $35,000 – $50,000 if it’s in medium condition.

Based on jdpower avg retail is $17k, in order to get the high retail of $29k, you'd need to spend the above

The average of all Tesla models is about $60,000 to $70,000, and varying trim levels add or subtract around $10,000 in most cases. The Plaid trim is the priciest by far, exceeding $120,000.

There are many EVs lower than $50k... and a few less than $30k, but you keep ignoring that and will respond with some story that you can't get one.

If i had a different EV !tesla, I would not be comfortable driving it more than 100 miles away from my home charging.
Palm Springs is almost too far for a round trip.

Tesla beats all others with its super charging stations.

I tried using chargepoint charger up in Santa Barbara with my TeslaY and 10% battery recharge took about 1.5 hours, and a lot of the chargers looked like they were about to break...or were broken. A Tesla supercharger takes about 30 min to charge 50% or 160 miles.
 
And like GM…Ford steps in the EV poo pile…This is not just about execution…they try to obscure the dismal sales and public uptake…again Toyota has it right. American car makers stumble backward through the dark…good job…

· Ford Motor reported an ugly fourth quarter and a full-year net loss.

· The automaker cited “execution issues” that plagued operations. It fell short of expected sales by 100,000 units.

· The company is looking to cut additional costs this year and is not ruling out additional layoffs.

Ford continues to face issues with internal combustion engine vehicles, which are responsible for almost all of Ford’s profits.

Just like you quoted, if Ford could produce more EVs, they would be doing better.

And not just EVs, the new Bronco and Maverick have shortages too.

From the “duh” department, California is already becoming more healthy because of electric car penetration, which has resulted in cleaner air in areas where electric cars are more prevalent, according to a new study.

The study was published last week by the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. It tracked real-world pollution levels, electric car penetration, and emergency room visits across California between 2013 and 2019.
Completely unsurprisingly, the study found that clean air vehicles actually resulted in clean air, with the benefits being stronger in areas where there were more of them. Amazing. Who knew.

Progressives’ dirty little secret is that everyone will have to make do with much less—fewer cars, smaller houses and yards, and a significantly lower standard of living. ... The report concludes that the auto sector’s “current dominant strategy,” which involves replacing gasoline-powered vehicles with EVs without decreasing car ownership and use, “is likely incompatible” with climate activists’ goal to keep the planet from warming by more than 1.5 degrees Celsius compared with preindustrial times. Instead, the report recommends government policies that promote walking, cycling and mass transit. ...

A Natural Resources Defense Council report last year on lithium mining also concluded that the government needs “to reduce long-term dependency on single-passenger vehicles.” The Inflation Reduction Act included billions of dollars to promote bicycling and so-called livable neighborhoods. ...

California’s Democratic Legislature last year even passed a bill creating a $1,000 tax credit (originally proposed at $7,500) for households that don’t own cars. “We can invest in the future by providing financial incentives for Californians to transition from vehicles to more sustainable options,” state Sen. Anthony Portantino said.
