The area half way up the hill is Sorrento Heights and Highland. Some homes were built by S&S. Aliso Viejo geographically falls into a bad Feng Shui location. Its topography placed it at the point of vacuum where air is always stagnant. Another location is Crown Vally Pkwy by 5 fwy in L Niguel where the land form is shape like a bottom of a "wok". Heat is really hot at the bottom near the flame. The location by Costco is really bad due to stagnant air.

Could you please provide us with more areas (in south OC) that you think has bad Feng Shui or you wouldn't purchase due to its geographic and demographic factors?
 
good point bkshopr on feng shui. I should also keep in mind the feng shui aspects when buying a house, its definitely important. What are the good feng shui areas in irvine communities :)
 
Despite the (relatively small) differences among south oc cities, I wouldn't have a problem living in parts of any of them. Agree that some have better weather than others...I personally think of Mission Viejo and other more inland areas like RSM as having the worst summer weather - never really noticed it too much in AV, but I could be wrong.
 
<p>For the longest time in history Feng Shui theory promote the locations by the water due to mild temperature stored by the heat energy of the ocean. Food source such as seafood brought prosperity to the fishermen. We today love the constant temperature all year around and the view. The desire to live by the ocean has not changed. As we move farther away from the ocean air flow began to behave very differently due to surrounding land mass affecting air current. Places like Shady Canyon has excellent feng shui due to active path of airflow that aerate the community eventhough for the most part surrounded by hills. The higher elevation lots have excellent breeze and the golf course has a steady flow of air. Comfort of air flow and temperature is extremely important to feng shui. </p>

<p>Due to the land formation of hills and valleys some area is more desirable than others. US geological survey is the first source to check for contour lines and the analysis of prevailing wind direction. Having a technical understanding of wind and water is the word Feng (wind) Shui (water) is crucial for places to build homes.</p>
 
<p>Many bloggers are first time buyers. Sienna in Woodbury East has good feng shui floor plans. I rarely see good floor plans in the marketplace. The anticipated opening of this project I heard is postsponed. The information is even temporarily deleted from the website. </p>

The same Loop road that intersect Portola Pkwy twice represent an infinite loop as in infinity is also another good sign where the main artery of the neighborhood never come to a dead end therefore symbolizes the endless of opportunities and success. The absence of high speed street is very good because speed equals to bad "chi" </p>
