What a spoilsport.

The idea would be if I *had* to choose one of the three... which one would I choose.

And you seem to be able to find things to post about.

i answer questions that others ask.  what's wrong with that?

quit being so sensitive about your lifestyle.
Uhhh... I'm not the one being sensitive.

You're the one who asked me a question... and I answered it.

Right - you are the one whose feelings are hurt.

How about i give you some pedialyte and tell you a story to make it all better?  Maybe even go for a ride in the car seat until you settle down...
You're hilarious. I think you want me to be hurt so you can hulk out since you haven't unleashed in a while.

Why would I care if you don't like my idea? Have I cared before? Did the word "spoilsport" make you feel bad? Lighten up.

And I see you already started the insults.

So what next... are you planning to call me a woman, insult my wife, use vulgarity or tell me how you would beat someone up?

Relax, man, this is just a discussion board, save the anger for your Old Testament sessions.

I don't need to call you anything - your passive aggressive tendencies to dish it out but not take it in return say enough.  You know when to find me if you ever grow some balls and want to do something about it.

Unlike yourself - i'm everything i say i am.  Don't you wish you could say the same thing?

Now you'll just have to deal with the truths above, like the little person you are.  If i offended you, please take the time to call a support group or someone else who cares about your well being to discuss your inadequacies.
Heh... I'm not the one who sounds offended.

Again, relax, what have I "dished out" that has you so uptight?

Ok, I told myself I wasn't going to talk to you anymore. But I noticed an "Iho house" so I'll take a 5 minute time-out before I go back to not speaking to you anymore. 3CWG WITH an XL private, gated driveway, 5 bed house with a "prom staircase" (that was a plus to you, iirc), you get a Pebble Tec pool with a rock slide and waterfall, outdoor built-in bbq & fireplace, cathedral ceilings...

The biggest problem... not in Irvine. :)

The 2nd biggest is the price, Foothill Ranch homes were in the $700ks only a few years (maybe not this particular one), so it's hard to pay over $1.1m for one now... although if I had to choose between this one and a Baker Ranch new build... Foothill Ranch would win.

The "prom staircase" is a ps9 feature... along with trashcan alarm systems.

I'm thinking they must have added on to the home which is why the asking price seems "high" for the area. It's over 3,500 sqft. I don't recall other plans of the same size in FR but I could be wrong. God knows they would have had enough room to do it if they did. That lot is nearly a quarter-acre! Well, either way, at "only" $324/sqft. it's a steal compared to a certain bordering city which shall not be named.

It's a steal compared to its own city (AKA Highlands).

3CWG, elevation, private backyard, gigantic lot... multiple living areas... that trumps new home smell to me.

Iho, I've just been wondering lately... is there any sort of deadline you have for finally buying a home? I know you're not a big fan of making compromises on the kind of house you're looking for. But maybe there is, say, a certain year / decade / stage of life by which you will say, "Ok, I've spent long enough looking and now the time has come that I must decide." Maybe what you need in a house will have changed through the seasons of life so that what you started out looking for is no longer what you need (ex: kids getting older / down-sizing, retiring, etc.) The only reason I am asking is because I wanted to stay on the forum until you make your "Bought a House" post. For me, every good book needs a proper ending. I was there for the "Legend of the FCB - How I Became An Ex-Irvinehomeowner" post 6 years ago and I'd like to be there for that final one. On that first post, you had already been looking for 2.5 years. I want to wait but I'm going old and gray waiting. This book is longer than "War and Peace".

Yes... the deadline was 4 years ago... and based on prices... should have been.

Hopefully I can give you your closure this year.

But then if I do that, what will I post about?*

*Yes... I went there.

Full Basketball Court: Check

Knee-Friendly main-floor bedroom: Check

Cathedral ceilings: Check

Sprawling garage + ample parking: Check

Irvine location: Fail
99%er price: Fail

While it's a nice home, I don't think I could live in Yorba Linda even if I had $20m, I would rather spend a fraction of that in Turtle Rock or Shady Canyon.

From my experience and the millions of houses I have seen only Middle easterners, Indians and Chinese could have such bad taste.

Your radar is accurate. It is constructed & owned by an Indian couple.

I always see those purple flowers when driving toward Corona on 91 and wondered about this house.  Thanks for the pics.
