No hatred. I'm just keeping it real. I call it how I see it.

Just wondering why lanikea started a new thread after she was caught being an insider on this site. Want proof everyone can look it up under the thread named "test". I copied and pasted the quote in case you can't find it. Here it is...

test

After she got caught in her web of lies she tried to start a thread to see how to delete old posts. Now she has a whole new story made up...AGAIN...
is there any way to delete this post? i made a mistake..
? Last Edit: Today at 09:44:45 PM by Laniakea ?

So she opened up a whole new link to try to see how to delete old posts. After she realized she couldn't do that she came up with her response here.

I'm not interested in bashing anyone but, an honest and critical read begs the question of TB paid bloggers. The point is be on the few useful price sheets and pics their campaigning is tedious and not helpful to me which is why I have gone off on this tangent. The truth is TB is all about false hype and you have to question the good financial sense of buying a tract home in Irvine at these prices. I enjoy having a good debate but have started on rants because these bloggers are ridiculous to me.

What was the topic of the thread she deleted?

orange_curtain, if you can not bring anything constructive to the discussion at least stop patronizing people on the forum.

None of us are obligated to prove our identities to you.  We have been patient enough to put up with you non-stop negativity.  Many of us on here are new to TI including myself.  We are here to hear opinions from others who share similar interests/views as us.

Some of the buyers / prospective buyers rely on information posted on here because communication is so disorganized and disconnected with the sales office.  From my experiences with the Capri sales office, 80% of my emails were unanswered and the only way I can get a reply is to show up in person or to talk to a sales rep over the phone.

I'm male, in my 30's, and I too noticed the Restoration Hardware chandeliers... Happios, Grayston, we should have a chandeliers-n-coffee meet!

In regards to "good financial sense for buying a tract home", to each his/her own. Everyone has a certain list of qualities they look for in a home, and a certain budget to work with. If these homes fulfill everything a buyer is looking for, why not? There is no need to bash people who don't share the same perspective as you. We liked Plan 4 at La Vita, but the lack of space upstairs and the motorcourt killed it for us. Trevi and Amelia are $2-3mil tract homes too. Who's to say all of those buyers have poor financial sense? I guess poor financial sense only got them so far in life that they could only afford $3mil homes rather than $10mil. Woe is me.

Btw, I do monitor this thread a couple of times a day, on Easter Sunday too, because the drama feeds my soul.

Sounds good to me.  I'm up for some coffee and chat about chandeliers and interior design.
I flip a couple homes in the last few years and sort of developed s new hobby in home remodeling.

You're kidding right?  Similar views?  You live in America (I think).  We are the land of differing views.  I appreciate hearing both sides.  In fact, I think I need to.  I am waiting for HC, but I am considering three different communities, so I would like to hear the good, the bad and the ugly.  Also, I  have read the entire thread, and no one seems to be asking anyone to prove identities.  Seems to me that a group of you are simply piling on O_C because of differing (strong) views.  So what.  Grow up.  Btw, we're all idiots if we suddenly think it is acceptable for any business to ignore 80% of any customer group inquiries, mine and yours included.  There is no excuse whatsoever, in my opinion, for such conduct.  If any airline, restaurant, etc business did anything like that, it would be all over the press.

I would like an invite.  I may not agree with you folks, but I could use coffee and a show.

Interesting to hear some of the lots were pre-sold to employees of the builder. Must be some pretty great pay over there to afford homes within the community.

Once the properties close, it's possible to run a title search to see who closed on the home, then match it to LinkedIn or other resources. Given past experience, very few employees close on the properties that were pre-reserved, but in today's market - who knows?

My .02c

I have a question for those who have seen the houses.  Do any of the Marbella models have a wine room?  Does anyone know if it is a design option?  Please advise if you have info.

J Hsu,

What I meant was, most of us are here because we have similar interest in the HC project.  Obviously not everyone shares similar views, and I welcome anyone with different opinions as long as they are presented in a respectful manner to others.  OC Curtain shared his different point of view which is fine.  He crossed the line when he started the witch hunt.

You want me to grow up?  I will not add to the drama that have already escalated by you and your buddy occ.

Yes, the communication with the sales office is aweful.  And I have brought the issue up with the sales rep.  They said early phases can be chaotic especially with the high demand.  It is what it is, I was simply stating a fact, not condoning the behavior.

I have intro'd TI to quite a few friends including one of the new posters who is an HC buyer.  Differing views are critical and needed.  Otherwise its an echo chamber.  But name calling, mocking peoples pictures, and an overall lack of civility is what is causing concern.  If Orange Curtain believes some of the posters are builder employees, she can ignore them but to constantly challenge everyone and just keep attacking is a problem.

If it wasn't for Qwerty's huge post count, a quick read on any of the Tustin Legacy threads and you would be sure he worked for the builder.  People are fan's of where they live or planning to live.

We should call out posts that have incorrect info or don't show the full picture but do so with civility.

So maybe all these TB shills actually are buyers.  >:D

^terrible first post, I know.

I forgot who asked about how long to hear back from TB after QQ.  In our case we submitted QQ early Jan and got a call for the VIP tour in about 2 weeks.  You may want to contact TBI mortgage (link at the bottom right of the websitehttps://www.tollbrothers.com/CA/Toll_Brothers_at_Hidden_Canyon_-_Capri_Collection)just to make sure they received your QQ.

For many reasons we had to pass on HC but would still like to go back and check out the finished models once they are open to public.

For my part, I sincerely thought that the Caitlin comments were funny and intended as a joke.  Sort of like the post itself.  Maybe it's real, but come on?  In any event, my comments should be taken in that spirit. I guess things get lost on e-mail.  I do think people are taking things too seriously on this blog.

However, whether it's a pic or views one way or the other, I doubt people would behave this way in person, and probably should not in this forum.  The commentary is becoming unhelpful.  In my opinion, it's more true on the Happios side than on OC's.  I don't support some of the language choices, but everyone should be able to share an idea or perspective without having any one group pile on.  That is clearly happening.  If anyone doesn't see these matters cutting both ways, they are either being self-serving/self-interested or intentionally perpetuating the exact behavior they are criticizing.  rpk, I think you indicated something similar to this last point in one of your more recent posts.
