[quote author="tmare" date=1244757817]This is my neighborhood USC, it is very quiet (people who visit always comment that they didn't know there were houses in here). MUCH quieter than Floral Park. There are many double lots like mine (about 16,000 sq ft.), but they don't come up for sale very often. The park makes the neighborhood extra nice. I do love West Floral Park also, I am partial to sprawling one story ranch houses. Any questions about Park Santiago, I'm your girl.</blockquote>
I might just take you up on your offer. Where is the park located? I like the central location and the area has the type of home I'm looking to buy. How is the crime in the area?

[quote author="stone007" date=1244787497]LOVE that Windsor home..Is that in a good area? Is the pricing right for what it is?</blockquote>Is South of 17th considered North Tustin these days ? Seems to be a ranch converted to Sante Fe, but looks nice.

Sold for $635,000 in 2004; I think market prices will revert to at least 2004.

It can be. Depends on how close to Newport you are.

The park runs along the back of the neighborhood, you can ride your bike through the park all the way to Hart Park in Orange. It's a very rustic park, not like the little perfect parks in Irvine. There is a new nature center that just opened in the park. You can also cut through the park to City Place and it takes about 5 minutes. I'm afraid of giving away our little gem but there is virtually no crime in the neighborhood.

Wasn't there a murder in Irvine this year?

[quote author="frugalwithclass" date=1244794959]is that a joke or is that for real (murder in irvine ) ?</blockquote>

You can find a discussion of this <a href="http://www.irvinehousingblog.com/forums/viewthread/5188/#108922">here.</a>

Guess there have been a couple body dumps in Santiago Park over the years. But you have to admit, Santiago Park is not safe at night.

It's also closed at night, not too many reasons to be there when it's closed, you're already committing a crime just by being there at night.

I can't, because I don't know him, and like I said, I don't go to the park at night. This is dumb, I'm only saying that of course, there is crime everywhere but the Park Santiago neighborhood is relatively crime free (BTW there are no houses IN the park). I have lived here for 5 years and have never experienced any crime personally, I've never seen graffiti in the neighborhood, I've experienced no robberies and I generally never lock anything, including my car. Actually, I should shut up, because I prefer that our oasis remains just that.

Yes, the Windor house is in a good area (I believe it is Foothill High School District) and it is considered No. Tustin. The asking price is high, though. It does have a large lot, but still...

No, I don't have to admit that - because it's isn't true. Stop being dumb.
