Has anybody noticed that IrvineRenter already revealed himself ?!

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Wait ..wait, I worked with this Lawrence Roberts, his face was on Newsweek cover at one time. A real genius.

Yeah!!, that's a good idea:

A book signing event but before a 1-hour talk, then an open mic. Q&A section, you can invite the local press: OCR, OCBJ, etc. and then we can have a IHB party!

I'll take a picture with IR with the following title:

This guy save me $100K! (well, as of today is more like $200K and growing!)

What da ya think?

its bad enough the IR boys taking credit for other people's dancing, but now this joker is taking credit for al gore's work. for shame!

[quote author="IrvineRenter" date=1224066499]I thought this was a better way to go about it rather than making some big splash with a post on the main blog. I want to go on as IrvineRenter just as before. Perhaps some of the mystique will be gone, but I never did this for fame or notoriety, so I didn't want to make a big deal about it. If it weren't for the book, I probably would never have revealed my identity. There was really no need to. I enjoy giving anonymously.

So I shouldn't call you Lar now on the blog? :)

You should tell them all how sneaky smart IPO figured out who you were eons ago and helped you cover your internet trail...

[quote author="no_vaseline" date=1224114793]That ain't him.

This is Irvine Renter:

After all that has happened in the last weeks, where even the 2008 Nobel economy prize winner has predicted the same things, I think is pretty safe to come out to the public light, there's nothing to be fearful about it.

She's gone, I'm sure she lost a good deal of money, probably saying to herself: "What I was thinking?" and also thinking that it would have been a lot cheaper to have attended Harvard/Wharton and get an econmics degree rather than blindly "investing" in RE ignoring basic economic fundamentals and history.

I think I see love for Sarah in IR's eyes...

Maybe I should start a Where's Waldo-esque game with IR's noggin? :)

This is off topic but I gotta ask. You mentioned checking out Ms. Palin but what about Cindy McCain? I wonder what men think of her. Do they not think she is pretty? I think she is lovely but I never hear people comment on her, wonder why.

It's the USC connection. ;-)

Since we're OT, is it not a little strange that neither the Governor nor her husband are wearing wedding rings?

Dude...opportunistic capitalism at its finest.

You really can find anything on the internet.

Anyhow...

Congrats, Larry!

I was driving my kid to preschool one morning this week and we were listening to 93.1 or 98.7, can't remember which one. I hear a commerical for this Ashley Madison deal and first thought to myself, "no way I heard that right, can't be". The next thought I had was "What a smokin' good idea that would be to probably make a bundle of cash"... I of course had to check it out and see if it was really a service that facilitates affairs.

I'm thinking we need to start up a service that monitors activity on Ashley Madison for wives and alerts them when their husband has signed up. If you can subscribe to a credit monitoring service, why not subscribe to a spouse monitoring one as well?!

And they are advertising on the radio!!! That's a) brazen and b) proof they have $$ coming in from somewhere.

I read the FAQ. They are facilitating affairs between men AND women who are "attached." As in, they explain to a single person who signs up why a married person might not want to talk to them. Something about if both parties are "attached" then they both take on the risk, but if you are single they have to trust that you won't blackmail them.

Ipop, your monitoring service shouldn't be offered up just to wives.

Ipop, your monitoring service shouldn?t be offered up just to wives.

I was thinking the same thing.

I believe I heard that women cheat more than men. >:(

What I don't get is why any single person would sign up for that service. Aren't there enough fish in the sea that you can find yourself a single one?

Crazy, the man behind the myth is revealed! Will have to grab the book when I return home next week. I'm in AZ, and was thinking of looking up AZDavidPhx, but then I'm not so sure I wanted a two hour discussion on his photoshopped pics, no matter how funny some of them are. ;-)

But then again, I could have asked him places to go eat, so I could have avoided this food poisoning I'm now enjoying.
