I thought this was a better way to go about it rather than making some big splash with a post on the main blog. I want to go on as IrvineRenter just as before. Perhaps some of the mystique will be gone, but I never did this for fame or notoriety, so I didn't want to make a big deal about it. If it weren't for the book, I probably would never have revealed my identity. There was really no need to. I enjoy giving anonymously.
Look to the positive side, if I see you waiting in line in a Starbucks, Blockbuster, Movie theater, Yogurtland, etc. I'll say to the clerk "charge that to me" ;-)

Welcome to the "out" side of IHB. It's officially a party.
I'm sure Ipop could do much better but... <strong><a href="http://sendables.jibjab.com/view/S5MZbUzAhQ7FcGu2">here goes.</a></strong>
I wish you much success, and even though I have been a member of this site as long as you have been posting and have kept up to date on all your very informative postings... I will still buy your book!
I feel proud to be part of this blog, and be able to say.... "I knew him back when..."
Congratulation for a job well done. Your theory is well supported by your meticulous research. You have my sincere respect. You shed light to the darkest chapter of our housing history.
Now that your ID is known you might get a phone call to fix the housing crisis in Irvine. I see lot 12 in your future.
