Homes promising goodies on Broker's Previews. I usually have a good update around 5pm every Tuesday night. Brokers are looking for attendance. You are looking for info and food. Should be a good fit.

Wow... that's really great info. Thanks, IR2! I especially like being able to see what's coming on market and the asking price, rather than waiting for the MLS listing.

That's the plan. All of these properties should already be on MLS though.

27 Eden is so NOT Northpark...

Anyone have a van? We could do an IHB caravan. We would all wear our IHB shirts, and strictly refer to IrvineRealtor as IR2 or IR deuce. Someone would have to be in charge of the camera, so we can get pictures of the Realtors at the previews, then post them here and vote on the most shocked face of them all.

I could never understand the willingness to trade an hour of leisure time for a free lunch. That's prime IHB time! Give me a charge number and I'll be there with my brown bag. 2 slices of pizza and a soda do not impress me.

Dude... don't you have a crackberry, or at least an intarweb capable phone? You can read, and post from the the caravan ride. Hell, why would you care? All the cool IHBer's would be busy on the caravan, so it's not like there would be any quality posts, just pandas. The real deal of IHB would be on location, and you would be missing out on all the good stuff.

/sarcasm off

pssh, I spend WAY too much time in front of the computer. While i'm WAITING on the computer to finish crunching, I do my IHB time.... Isn't it that way with everybody? I seriously need two computers to get things done.

I just have one nasty computer bix, but with twin monitors and running different virtual machines. I can do stuff in one VM and play on the IHB in my base O/S...

I'm running 2 computers on dual monitors so I can switch over between a legacy CAD session and 2 current CAD sessions. I does do wonders for productivity.

You have no idea. Actually, it's more like Office Space. The Bobs have just come in and, for a princely sum, suggested that we can save a lot of money and be more competitive if we merely cut off all overhead charging immediately. Great! Too bad we don't have any direct budgets since we can't win any of the few contracts we bid on, and we never bid the contracts we could win.

I just have a High end Dell with the twin Quad Core chips. Of course a 1.5G graphics, 5TB of memory and of course 128G of memory. Unfortunatley i'm stuck with a dual 17" when i would like dual 24's. Its pretty much a powerhouse with wimpy monitors. From what I understand, its not exactly cheap, but at least it cuts down on the model generation and modeling time.

good luck

Thanks to all of you who stopped by today. Especially all 6 of you who signed in as "skek." Good plan. Well-executed. Now I will still never know who you really are.
