[quote author="tmare" date=1214467887]My husband grew up in Floral Park. He has fond memories of selling avocados at the Home Tour, he'd make a few hundred dollars each time. His parents still live in the same house which sits on 2 acres of land. They have a pool and a tennis court. It's beautiful and you really can't find anything like it unless you go up to the Orange Hills.</blockquote>

Most Children growing up in OC will never have this type of priceless memories and especially the children from Tustin Base.

Maybe those kids can plant a vegetable garden, eat the vegetables, and then hallucinate some fond memories.

my children will have fond memories of running around inside a trader joes, which will be designed to replicate an old orchard. i will have to teach them that the plastic shell is not the natural skin of the avocado. they in fact have a bumpy green skin and grow on trees in oblong shapes. they don't automatically come mashed up with chopped tomatoes. it will blow their minds!
