For gypsy (I think this the right plan), we like that Plan 4 at Paloma too:

That's an interesting floor plan. Not a lot of common space (the master bath is almost as big as the living room, and the master bedroom is exactly the same size), a lot of bathrooms for a fairly small house (four and a half, with each bedroom getting their own full bath plus a half bath for guests), and a rear garage facing an alley.</blockquote>
Yeah, we have had the formal living/ dining in the past, and it was just a dust gatherer - never used it. I prefer to make the patio like a second living room - I spend most of my free time on the spacious patio in my apartment. I have a sofa and a rug out there - its awesome.
What I love about the master bath is that it is seperated into like a mens area and womens area. Hate to break it to you fellas - but you guys are gross in the bathroom, so I want my own space.
I like all the bathrooms, because the older my kids get the harder it is for them to share a bathroom. This place could see me thru till they get married and move out on their own.
Do you not like the rear-facing garage? I had one in Dallas, and at first I thought it was weird, but then after I thought it was perfect. Personally, I think garages on the front of the house are ugly and an eye-sore.</blockquote>
Sounds like it will be good for your family. I actually kind of like the plan. It's probably an expensive floorplan to build per square foot, with lots of rooms, lots of bathrooms, and no huge great room (empty space is cheap to build as opposed to bathrooms with plumbing and fixtures). Your opinion on garages is shared by many here. I tend to agree.
