In short, someone took Shabu Shabu and repackaged it as multi-course Kaiseki meal.
To be fair, the set meal can be shared between 2 people (order extra meat on the side) and there are cheaper choices on the menu for under $50. But we ended up spending $500 including tip for 1 x Shabu Shabu and 1 x Yosenabe course. Expect small but beautifully presented side dishes, you won't go hungry however. From starter to soup served in small kettle, all the way to cooking porridge in leftover soup and desert, the service was excellent and they cater to your special occasions with sparklers on top of your ice cream and photo print card.
Would I go back and spend that much? No, but you can order the Sakura Pork shabu Kaiseki set for as low as $48:
