Canned lights are expensive for Helena. Not sure whether it is same case for other communities like Petaluma.

This is what we did.

Added Switch separately and did pre-wire and tied the wiring to switch. Once you have switch and wiring, LED lights installation will be anywhere from 65$ to 85$ when you do after closure.

Thanks for the detailed information. I have 2 questions.
1. The description says, "Must be tied to an Existing Switch", but there is only one switch which comes as a standard option, which is connected to outlet in the room. So, how will this work post closure?
2. Additional switch which you mentioned, says, "Option Only Available with LED Lights". Again, if one is not taking the led light package then there is no existing led lights. So, how will they allow this upgrade?

Also wanted to know from those who got recess lights done later through IML or somewhere else, how much do you save?
