Previously I bought a donut at Dunkin Donuts in Downey, and I was not impressed with the taste of the donut. To me nothing stood out from other donuts I tasted before.

If you're in that area, I'd suggest going to Portos instead.

I wonder if the old dry cleaner place was forced out to make room for Dunkin Donuts.  Went there to get my shirts cleaned for many years.

anyone go yesterday?  I tried to go twice - once at 1:20PM and once at 8PM.. Both times lines looked > 45 mins so I didn't get a chance to go in.

I just don't get it - people waiting in line for something so mundane as donuts. There is got to be a way all those people can do something more productive in those 45 minutes, or at very least spend quality time with family, teach kid something new, play some hoops with your kid, go for a walk, read something interesting, listen to NPR.

Why would anyone wait 45 mins when there's a DD in Santa Ana and Laguna Hills?  The McDonald's fried apple pies are better anyways.

It's the hype. There are some people waiting for the Eastwood village grand opening and there are some people that look forward to the double D store opening.

There are some people on TI that hate obamacare. I am one of them.

I am no fan of Obamacare either. But, isn't NPR much much more than that?

NPR is depressing, like the news.

I listen to music or sports.

Cornflakes needs to eat more donuts. :)

Sure. Will eat only Star donuts off of Culver/Irvine. They have better donuts than DD, and there is no 45 minute line. :)

I guess FCB don't like double D.

There was supposed to be free coffee and/or donuts on opening day.  If it was < 10 min wait I would have jumped in line, but definitely not worth the 45 min wait.
