I actually wasn't planning on going but since IR and IPO have been helpful to me... I figured I would go to buy a book in support of IR and try to meet IPO.



Both missions were accomplished although I wouldn't have minded putting a face to No_Vas... as far as I know... he looks like Ice Cube.

OMG! I saw that car at the book signing last night. Ten was really there. I'm disappointed that I didn't get to meet him, but I was a bit overwhelmed by the turnout. I thought one guy was going to punch me when I jokingly said I was Ipo though. Funny, you either love or hate the guy. I was thinking it would have been better to say I was skek, but I thought better of it when people might start asking me to spread the wealth and buy them drinks.



It was good to see many of the regular IHBers, as well as meeting so many lurkers. The highlight of the night for me, (sorry IR, but I am fortunate to be your friend and appreciate your time whenever we get together), was meeting Calculated Risk and his wife. Albeit brief, I did get the opportunity to express my gratitude to him about his blog, as there isn't a day that goes by that I don't read his blog. Hopefully the next time we all get together, he will be able to spend more time to chat.



The other highlight was the big hug that I gave to my friend Trooper, that she so needed and deserved. It was also nice to see so many other people show their support for her who didn't get sucked into the politics threads.



It sounds like everyone had a great time, and I am glad so many people showed up for their highlight of their night, meeting IrvineRenter. I am sure it was a highlight, as he is really a great guy, and not just amazingly accurate RE guru.
