Wealthy Chinese are hiring American women to serve as surrogates for their children, creating a small but growing business in $120,000 "designer" American babies for China's elite.

Surrogacy agencies in China and the United States are catering to wealthy Chinese who want a baby outside the country's restrictive family planning policies, who are unable to conceive themselves, or who are seeking U.S. citizenship for their children.

Isn't it tragic how they won't adopt kids that are available, but they will pay a complete stranger to sherpa their fetus for 9 months at an exorbitant cost?

No way man. I could never adopt a kid. I'm like a lion, i need my genes out there, would kill a woman's cubs. I couldn't adopt and raise another mans kids as mine. It's takes a great person to adopt and I'm not one of them

So the Chinese come to the US to get away from China, and then try their hardest to turn it into the kind of place they left?  WTF!

You mean like all those people that left California for Las Vegas, Arizona and Texas and proceeded to sprawl suburban hell and start voting for programs like in California?

How are you suppose to complain about taxes if you don't demand more programs that require taxes?

Exactly!

If their hometown or state was so awesome to begin with, why leave?  And why try to turn the place they willingly moved to into a version of the place they left behind?

Instead of not being happy for the place being not what they want, they need to appreciate it for what it is!  Or move somewhere that doesn't need to be changed.
