Bank Robbery Today... just a few hours ago

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Sure, Trojan makes extra small condoms. I think this company took precise measurements of the Asian population to make sure. Right Qwerty?

Do you think we need market research to validate Asians are the bad drivers? Slow drivers?

Here is a perfect example. Chanel makes and stocks more shoes in size 6-7-1/2 than the larger sizes because Asians love this brand. Without stereotyping Asians with small feet Chanel would have missed the market.

seriously you cant be that dense.  there is a difference between stereotyping and market segmentation.  market segmentation relies on statistical data, research, and breaking down large groups into smaller groups that share similar traits.  the goal is to serve that smaller group better.  while stereotyping might seem similar to you, its different because most of the time, its based on perception and not data, its negative in tone, and it categorizes an entire group based on limited knowledge.

many people tend to generalize and having a perception, hunch or belief and acting on it is human nature.  there is nothing wrong with that.  what you do is take that generalization as an absolute truth of an entire group and then speak negatively about it and thats what makes it stereotyping.

you just dont get it do you.  lets say i have a fruit stand and in the first day of opening my fruit stand, i carry 10 different fruits equally.  over the course of a few weeks, i keep noticing that i have excess bananas and never have enough apples.  so i tweak my inventory and start carrying more apples.  all this is done without ever looking at the customer or trying to make a generalization.  i am simply listening to the market by watching what my customers are buying.

Save your money, time and effort. Instinct, perception and awareness could cut the research time 10 folds.

You don't need to spend all of the above to learn that Asians do not like American made cars or they like outlet shoppings.

Time is the essence and you will miss the boat if you had to do market research. Look at Laguna Altura as an example where TIC shuts down for a year just to do more market research.

There are things you can't quantify like personalities.

But, but the interweb is serious business, right?  haha  My recommendation would be the following saying....let things slide like water off a duck's back.

Citi bank in Woodbury got robbed twice this month! So did any of you hear the news. In irvine during the month of January 8 bank robberies occurred. Avoid the banks on weekdays apparently robbers takes the weekends off like the rest of us. The banks should alert the public that they have been robbed so the patrons become aware of the risk and safety.  :D

I have an account at Citibank but I never use it because I hate that the ATMs are inside the branch.  For some reason I feel safer being exposed on the street than getting trapped inside with bank robbers.  I also hate going to the 99 Ranch store that has the East West bank inside of it for the same reason.

Icicle gun sales must be going through the roof.
Speaking of icicle guns, wasn't there another suspicious suicide at UCI recently.  I wonder what Irvine's safety rating would be if they took into account the suicides and the people who die in traffic accidents.

If you take in the account of death due to drunk driving, traffic and suicide none of which is under the FBI crime criterias Santa Ana may take the lead currently at the 4th for 250,000 popl.

Yes FCB suspended the dead UCI students SCP credit card account.

Another one.  I'm glad they keep building more banks in Irvine.  It keeps the police occupied and prevents them from getting too bored.

RVINE ? A serial robber known as the "snowboarder bandit" is believed to have struck at an Irvine bank Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

The robbery was reported at a Wells Fargo branch in the 6500 block of Quail Hill Parkway just after 5 p.m., Irvine police Sgt. Steve Randall said.

So pretty much any bank within easy access to freeways is a target?  How did the east west bank get robbed?  It takes me 5 min just to exit the parking lot with all the bad drivers and tunnel vision pedestrians around...

The robber apparently did not use a get away car he just walked and blended in with the busy crowd. While the cops were looking for him all over at the arbor center they forgot to check the beauty salon where he was getting his hair cut and changed his appearance. He even carried his loot in a dim sum take out bag.
