My dad owned lots of TIC shares in the 80's/90's then they went private... He didn't know much about Irvine but TIC paid a good dividend and had solid financials.

Can only imagine what they would be worth today.

Amazon is making moves and turning companies around.

If you invested in Amazon: 2 years ago your return 96.42% (using the closing price $529.42 7/24/15), 1 year ago your return 40.59% (using the closing price $739.61 7/25/16)

I invested in Amazon many many years ago.  My current return is 1892.90%. LOL

We owned shares too. All I knew was everything they touched was gold, had a good dividend and had properties that I knew were valuable.

Was sorry when they went private.

Got word from one of my clients who are on the priority list that the VIP opening got pushed back to Aug 12th from Aug 5th which means that the public grand opening gets pushed back to Aug 19th.
