Avignon by Standard Pacific Homes at Blackstone (Brea)

I went to Brea Olinda HS so I know this area well.  I think Union 76 use to own all of that land and donated the part for the HS in 1990 when it opened.  It always felt hot up in those hills.  I remember in my senior year we found rattlesnakes in the long jump pit....we didn't wanna wait for animal control, so we killed them with shotputs....track iz seriouz biznuz.

Also in 2008, there was a fire near here...so you're probably safe from another for at least 10 years since the fuel is used up.  That firestation on Kraemer + Lambert was packed full of fire trucks at the time.  Also mandatory evacuations.

How about the Brea landfill?
 
The landfill seems to be at the same elevation as the HS and Avignon.  I don't know much about it.
